- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,960-$2,280
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Healthcare Setting: High-acuity emergency department
Job Requirements
- Emergency department or emergency room experience preferred
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- PALS certification from the American Heart Association
- Diploma of Nursing required
- BSN preferred
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills
- Ability to provide age-specific and culturally competent care
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced clinical environment
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients
- Provide culturally based and age-specific care in a high-acuity emergency department
- Communicate effectively with peers and other members of the healthcare team
- Provide age-specific and culturally competent patient care and education
- Adhere to the ANA code of ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act scope of practice requirements
- Support a patient- and family-centered model of care that promotes an ongoing partnership between patients, families, and the healthcare team
