Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Nursing Job – Asheville, NC
Join a dynamic Emergency Department team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Asheville, North Carolina. Travel RN Job Details
- Specialty: Emergency Department nursing
- Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,860-$1,960
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- End Date: January 11, 2027
- Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
- Shift Hours: 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.
- Work Setting: On-site Emergency Department
Emergency Department RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or applicable compact licensure
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to provide safe, effective care during night shifts in a high-acuity emergency setting
- Strong patient assessment, communication, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills
Emergency Department Travel RN Responsibilities
- Deliver timely, patient-centered nursing care to individuals presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
- Perform focused patient assessments, monitor patient status, and promptly communicate changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with orders, protocols, and established nursing standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient evaluation, treatment, and disposition
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
- Provide patient and family education, emotional support, and discharge instructions
- Promote a safe, respectful, and efficient environment for patients and healthcare colleagues
