Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – 13-Week Travel Nursing Contract in Muskegon, MI

This 13-week Emergency Room Registered Nurse assignment offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population while working night shifts in a collaborative acute-care environment. Travel Nurse Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,100
- Specialty: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Healthcare Setting: On-site Emergency Department; acute-care environment
- Location: Muskegon, Michigan
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 17, 2027
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights, approximately 7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
- Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Emergency Room Registered Nurse Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Michigan
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
- Experience providing patient care in a fast-paced emergency or acute-care setting
- Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Emergency Department RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Perform rapid patient assessments, prioritize care, and recognize changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments according to established orders and Emergency Department protocols
- Monitor patient responses and communicate significant findings promptly to the provider and interdisciplinary care team
- Assist with emergency procedures, patient stabilization, and timely transfers or admissions
- Document assessments, nursing interventions, patient responses, and discharge or transition planning accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary staff, patients, and families to support safe, compassionate emergency care
