Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010
- Location: Maysville, Kentucky
- Assignment Type: On-site travel nursing assignment
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks, through December 14, 2026
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Call Requirement: None
- Unit: Labor & Delivery and Women’s/Newborn Services
- Unit Capacity: 4 labor, delivery, recovery beds and 10 postpartum beds
- Patient Population: Low-risk labor and newborn patients, including deliveries at 35 weeks and above
- Documentation Systems: Meditech and Centricity
- Dress Code: Galaxy blue scrubs
Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Current Registered Nurse licensure eligible for practice in Kentucky
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Intermediate fetal monitoring competency
- Demonstrated experience caring for laboring patients and postpartum mother-baby couplets
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in an on-site hospital environment
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
OB/GYN Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and recognize changes requiring prompt intervention
- Support active labor patients, including 1:1 care when clinically indicated
- Provide mother-baby couplet care for postpartum patients and newborns
- Care for patients in labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn service areas
- Assist with the care of newborns in a Level I nursery setting
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge preparation
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive maternal and newborn outcomes
