Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room / Emergency Department (ER/ED) nursing experience
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills in acute care settings
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency medicine environment
Responsibilities – Emergency Room Nurse
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
- Perform triage, initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and clinical interventions for a diverse patient population
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond rapidly to emergencies and codes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, techs, social work) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the medical record
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and families during high-acuity situations
