Job Details
- Role: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
- Location: Santa Rosa, California 95403
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 6, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,030 – $3,190
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience strongly preferred
- High-risk OB or high-risk Labor & Delivery experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to laboring, postpartum, and obstetric patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Support patients and families throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with physicians, OB providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive outcomes
- Assist with high-risk obstetric care and clinical support as needed
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain a calm, supportive presence in a fast-paced maternity unit
