Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Job in San Leandro, CA
Join a fast-paced Labor & Delivery nursing team in San Leandro, California, and provide compassionate, high-acuity care to mothers and newborns. This 13-week travel RN assignment offers 12-hour night shifts in a supportive hospital environment serving a critical need unit in the East Bay.

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
- ACLS certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field
- Preferred: 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Preferred: High-risk Labor & Delivery or High Risk OB experience
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns as needed
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Support high-risk deliveries with strong clinical judgment and calm, effective communication
- Assist with admissions, assessments, labor progression, and delivery support
- Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold quality and safety standards
