Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: San Leandro, CA 94577
- Region: Bay Area, California
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,030 – $3,190
- Start Date: November 3, 2026
- End Date: January 30, 2027
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience strongly preferred, including high-risk OB exposure
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit
- Monitor patients and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Support safe, compassionate care for mothers and newborns
- Collaborate with physicians, OB providers, and the care team to promote positive outcomes
- Deliver care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with a focus on quality and patient safety
- Assist with high-risk labor situations and maternal-child health needs as required
