Med/Surg Registered Nurse travel job in Atlanta, Georgia 30342 with a 13-week acute care assignment, 12-hour night shifts, and 36 guaranteed hours per week. Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg or acute care nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability in a busy inpatient environment
- Ability to work night shifts and provide dependable, patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and maintain clear communication during handoffs
- Support a consistent, high-quality patient experience in a fast-paced acute care setting
