We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist with acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience to provide one-on-one patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. • Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapy Assignment
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 9/28/2026
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,580 – $1,700
• Location: Plano, TX
• Schedule Notes: Day shift only, no on-call, no floating requirement

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation
• Valid Physical Therapist license or certification
• Hospital-based therapy experience preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills
• Ability to work 2 weekend shifts per month as part of the rotation
• Comfort working with Meditech or similar EMR systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy treatments to patients in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation
• Evaluate patient needs and develop effective treatment plans to support recovery and mobility goals
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team, including nurses, physicians, and case managers
• Use therapy equipment such as treadmills, bikes, bars, and walking aids during treatment sessions
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the EMR system
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting
