Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room or Emergency Department RN experience required
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
- Required certifications must be active and unexpired at submission
- Ability to complete required onboarding assessments during orientation
- Willingness to comply with pre-start screening and facility compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult emergency patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- Perform focused assessments, triage support, and timely interventions based on patient acuity
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with emergency nursing standards and protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe patient outcomes
- Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Support a calm, professional, and compassionate patient experience during urgent care moments
