Job Details
- Position: Hospital Pharmacist – Ambulatory Infusion / Oncology Pharmacy
- Setting: Outpatient infusion pharmacy within a hospital environment
- Location: Aurora, Colorado 80045
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- End Date: 1/11/2027
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5×8-hour day shifts
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days (08:00-15:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,710-$2,920
- Orientation: 20 hours
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Population: Adults
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of infusion pharmacy experience required
- Active Colorado pharmacist license required
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Board certification preferred/required per assignment guidelines
- Chemo/Hazardous Drug certification required
- Experience with Epic required
- Travel pharmacist experience required
- Experience with ambulatory care, outpatient oncology clinic, chemotherapy, compounding, high-alert medications, Pyxis, and sterile technique strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, prepare, and dispense hazardous and non-hazardous medications for oncology and infusion patients
- Support safe medication use through accurate clinical and pharmacologic order verification
- Maintain compliance with sterile compounding standards and hazardous drug safety practices
- Collaborate with the care team to help ensure timely and appropriate therapy delivery
- Use Epic to document and manage pharmacy workflow efficiently
- Contribute to a patient-focused hospital pharmacy environment that supports quality care and operational excellence
