Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse – Travel RN Contract in Mayfield Heights, Ohio

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
- Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- One specialty reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
- Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
- Must meet pre-start compliance requirements, including time-sensitive fingerprinting and screening steps
- Strong communication, critical thinking, telemetry interpretation, and acute care nursing skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg telemetry patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the plan of care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused care environment
- Support continuity of care and patient education throughout the shift
