Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry | Mayfield Heights, Ohio (Cleveland Area)

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred/required per unit expectations
- One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the same specialty from the past 12 months
- Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
- Must have all required certifications active and available at submission
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements apply, with only medical or religious exemptions accepted
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical/surgical telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and communicate changes in condition promptly
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, efficient patient care
- Document patient care accurately and maintain strong clinical communication
- Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional bedside care
- Adapt to night shift workflow while maintaining quality, patient safety, and clinical excellence
