Travel Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical RN Job in Pocatello, Idaho

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Epic electronic health record charting experience required
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Medical-Surgical RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to Medical-Surgical patients with a variety of complex conditions
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record
- Monitor and support patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, COPD, trauma, AKI, diabetes, post-op care, and respiratory failure
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated, high-quality healthcare
- Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a busy, fast-paced acute care environment
- Support patient safety, quality outcomes, and effective communication across shifts
