Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Assignment in Omak, Washington

- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Shifts per Week: 3
- Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 – $2,480
- Start Date: December 7, 2026
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: As needed within scope
- Orientation: Provided prior to start
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- BLS and NRP required or obtained prior to start
- ACLS and AWHONN Intermediate preferred
- Strong Cerner charting experience required
- Critical Access Hospital experience required
- Experience with low-volume birth settings is highly valued
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
- COVID-19 vaccination required with approved medical/religious exemptions only
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns as appropriate
- Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and support mothers throughout the birthing process
- Perform newborn assessments and support early postpartum care
- Start and maintain IVs and administer medications and vaccines per protocol
- Follow infection control practices and isolation precautions
- Document care accurately in Cerner and maintain high standards of clinical communication
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support exceptional patient outcomes
- Adapt to a small unit environment and assist with floating as needed within scope
