Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse – Float Pool RN Job in Salem, Massachusetts
Travel RN opportunity in Salem, MA for an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse seeking acute care hospital experience on a collaborative float pool team. - Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
- Schedule: May include rotation and every other weekend coverage
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
- Start Date: 10/18/2026
Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred
- 2 years of travel nursing experience preferred
- Telemetry monitoring experience, including strip interpretation and interval measurement
- Experience with cardiac drips and TR band care
- Comfortable floating between multiple units and adapting to changing patient needs
- Experience using EPIC preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, attentive nursing care to telemetry and med/surg patients across several hospital units
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips throughout the shift
- Administer and manage cardiac drips according to established protocols
- Support ED border patients, acute mental health patients, and transfer-ready ICU patients as assigned
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to maintain high standards of patient care
- Document care accurately in the EPIC charting system
- Adapt quickly to different unit workflows while delivering excellent patient-centered care
