Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license or eligibility to practice in Kentucky
• At least 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience required
• Acute care, hospital-based, or LTACH experience preferred
• Strong skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and functional mobility
• Ability to work independently while contributing to an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered therapy care

Physical Therapy Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide skilled therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional outcomes
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical response
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge planning accurately and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to support recovery and rehabilitation
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, mobility techniques, and home programs
• Maintain a professional, compassionate approach in a fast-paced hospital setting
