Job Details

- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 – $2,480

Job Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Experience with fetal monitoring and obstetric patient assessment
- Ability to perform vaginal exams
- Experience circulating C-sections and providing post-C-section recovery care
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
- Strong critical thinking skills and excellent patient service
- Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative team player
- Resume required
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care for laboring patients, including vaginal delivery support and postpartum recovery
- Assist with C-section circulation and post-operative maternal care
- Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition
- Care for high-risk antepartum patients, including those with gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes
- Support obstetrical emergencies, including hemorrhage response and urgent maternal interventions
- Perform Labor & Delivery nursing tasks such as vaginal exams and outpatient testing as needed
- Provide newborn care during the first hour of life, including initial breastfeeding support and latch assistance
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, compassionate maternity care
