Job Details

- Employment Type: Travel RN
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 40
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 10/05/2026
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 – $2,150
- Work Setting: On-site
- Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505
- Weekend / Call Requirements: Weekend coverage required, including 2 weekend call shifts per month and 1 call night per week
- Floating: May float to other departments within Surgical Services
Job Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
- BLS through AHA required
- ACLS through AHA required
- Minimum of 1 year of Endoscopy RN experience or related nursing specialty required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Ability to work independently while delivering safe, high-quality patient care
- Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Provide routine and complex nursing care for endoscopy and gastroenterology patients
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor patient response
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and timely
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on procedures, care needs, and follow-up instructions
- Support patients with increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs
- Collaborate with the care team and assist with assignments and delegation as appropriate
- Maintain professionalism while meeting competency expectations in a fast-paced surgical services environment
