Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel RN assignment in Asheville, NC. This role is ideal for a skilled travel nurse who brings strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to orthopedic patient care. You will support a collaborative care team while delivering high-quality nursing care in a rewarding acute care environment.

- Position: Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks

- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
- Orthopedic nursing, surgical, or acute care experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and patient education skills
- Comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to orthopedic patients
- Monitor patient condition, assess changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
- Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care needs
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and care team members to promote positive patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on recovery, mobility, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety at all times
