Overview
This Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse role is ideal for a confident RN who thrives in a fast-paced medical-surgical and telemetry setting. You will care for adult patients, collaborate with a skilled clinical team, work a consistent night schedule, and use your Epic experience to help deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
Job Details
- Position: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse
- Location: Canton, Ohio
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- Assignment Type: Travel Nurse Job
- Start Date: 10/23/2026
- Orientation: Includes ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate assessment
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele or telemetry nursing
- Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- NIHSS required prior to start
- Epic experience required
- One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
- Ability to work every other holiday
- Assessments completed during orientation with passing scores required
- Required vaccinations and compliance items must be met prior to start
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in Epic
- Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
- Maintain a professional, flexible approach in a fast-paced clinical environment
