- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
- Assessments: ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate completed during orientation
Job Requirements
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from AHA or the American Red Cross
- NIH Stroke certification required prior to start
- Epic charting experience required
- One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
- Ability to complete all onboarding, compliance items, and orientation assessments
- Willingness to work every other holiday
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients during the night shift
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, complete patient assessments, and document accurately in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Prioritize care for a dynamic inpatient assignment and adapt to changing patient needs
- Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety practices, and competency expectations
- Complete required orientation testing and ongoing assignment readiness requirements
