Travel Mammography Technologist Job in Oakland, CA
Join a dynamic outpatient imaging team in Oakland, California. This 13-week travel Mammography Technologist assignment offers the chance to support high-quality breast health care in a respected Bay Area imaging environment while working across multiple locations.
Job Details
- Setting: Outpatient mammography and imaging
- Location: Oakland, CA 94609
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620 – $2,820
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with rotating weekend coverage as needed
- Work Environment: Multiple imaging locations, including a mobile unit
- Patient Population: Adult patients
- Charting System: Epic experience preferred
Mammography Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in mammography or radiologic technology
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- CRT and California Mammography Licensure required
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Experience with diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, Hologic 3D, and screening mammograms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality mammography exams with accuracy and compassion
- Support diagnostic mammography and screening mammography workflows
- Float between multiple imaging locations and a mobile van as needed
- Operate advanced mammography equipment and maintain proper imaging standards
- Document patient information and complete charting in Epic
- Follow all safety, quality, and infection control procedures
- Deliver excellent patient care while helping ensure smooth daily operations
