- Schedule: 3 shifts per week; every other weekend required
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week

Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required; Progressive Care Unit, step-down, or acute care experience strongly preferred
- BLS and ACLS required
- Strong critical thinking and EKG rhythm interpretation skills
- Experience with cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips
- Ability to manage BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and multiple oxygen delivery systems
- Experience with stroke and post-cardiac cath care preferred
- Peritoneal dialysis, peripheral IV, tube feeding, and NG/Dobhoff experience preferred
- Comfort working rotating patient assignments and floating between similar care areas as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care to PCU patients with complex medical needs
- Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythms, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Administer and titrate cardiac, insulin, and heparin drips per protocol
- Support patients requiring advanced oxygen therapy and respiratory support
- Perform hourly rounding on days and every 2-hour rounding on nights
- Deliver patient-centered communication and maintain care boards accurately
- Assist with procedures and unit-specific tasks including wound vac troubleshooting, chest tube care, central line dressing changes, and NG/Dobhoff insertions as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to maintain a safe, efficient, and family-like unit culture
