We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in a Neuro Medical-Surgical setting. Job Details
- Position: Travel Neuro Registered Nurse (RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Setting: Neuro Med/Surg Unit
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,640 – $1,730

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience
- Prior neuro nursing or neurological patient care experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize patient care and multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Experience starting IVs and performing basic wound care
- Comfort with maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, attentive, and compassionate nursing care to neuro med/surg patients
- Complete bedside shift report and keep patients and families informed throughout the care process
- Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Administer nursing interventions and support recovery using standard unit equipment and technology
- Document care accurately in the Meditech electronic health record (EHR) system
- Support a collaborative unit culture focused on quality, safety, and patient experience
- Float as needed per unit policy and rotate fairly with other contract staff
