- Facility Type: Acute care hospital with Med/Surg and remote telemetry coverage
- Schedule: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
- Schedule Notes: Weekend and holiday coverage required; floating between Med/Surg and Tele units required
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 2+ years of recent acute care nursing experience
- Recent experience caring for Med/Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
- Current BLS certification required
- Recent Cerner charting experience
- 2+ completed travel nursing assignments required
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Care for Med/Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
- Float between Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed
- Administer medications safely, including bedside scanning procedures
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and follow established clinical protocols
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a busy acute care hospital setting
