Job Details
- Position: Travel Cath Lab Tech
- Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Job
- Start Date: 9/14/2026
- End Date: 12/14/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday with on-call coverage approximately 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
- Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab
- Floating: Cath Lab and EP Lab
- Location: San Antonio, TX 78201
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, including complex PCI
- Experience with Impella placement and management, as well as IABP placement and management
- Recording experience with GE Mac Lab EMR
- One of the following certifications required: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT
- Preferred: EP Lab experience, including EP device placement, EP ablations, and EP studies
- Preferred: Peripheral vascular intervention experience
- Ability to live within 30 minutes of the facility to meet call requirements
- Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to take additional call when needed
Responsibilities
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Assist with right and left heart caths, PCI, and complex PCI cases
- Participate in peripheral vascular interventions, EKOS procedures, PFO occluder cases, and nitric oxide studies
- Assist with pacemaker and ICD implants, EP ablations, Watchman implants, and related procedural care
- Work collaboratively with Cath Lab and EP Lab teams to help ensure safe, efficient patient flow
- Accurately document procedures and support lab recording using GE Mac Lab and Meditech systems
- Provide on-call support for after-hours and weekend coverage as scheduled
