Job Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist license or credential required
• At least 1 year of occupational therapy experience preferred
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute rehab, or hospital rehab strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of ADLs, functional mobility, and patient-centered rehab care
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to an interdisciplinary care team

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide skilled therapy interventions to improve mobility, self-care, and activities of daily living
• Support morning ADL routines and assist patients in achieving functional rehabilitation goals
• Document patient care, progress, and treatment outcomes accurately in Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, and other rehab professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans, home exercise programs, and functional strategies
• Maintain a patient-centered approach while delivering high-quality inpatient rehab services
