Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required for NICU coverage
• Experience in a tertiary care or teaching hospital strongly preferred
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Comfort supporting NICU, PICU, emergency department, adult acute care, and critical care patients
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a team-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care across the hospital
• Support adult, pediatric, neonatal, and critical care patient populations as needed
• Assist with acute care and critical care respiratory interventions
• Operate ventilators and a variety of respiratory support devices
• Document patient care and treatments accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Float as needed to support staffing needs across multiple units and patient acuity levels
• Maintain a flexible, professional approach in a busy hospital environment
