- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience
- Epic charting experience required
- BLS certification required
- Chemotherapy certification required
- OCN certification required
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience in a Level I trauma environment required
- Strong knowledge of oncology care, central lines, ports, blood products, and symptom management
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality oncology nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
- Administer chemotherapy, IV medications, blood transfusions, and supportive treatments
- Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects, changes in condition, and emerging complications
- Manage central lines, implanted ports, PICCs, and continuous IV pain medications
- Support patients receiving comfort-focused care with dignity, empathy, and excellent clinical attention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, IV therapy, respiratory services, social services, and rapid response resources
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, and safety precautions
- Document accurately in Epic and uphold unit standards for safe, evidence-based care
