Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Opportunity in McKinney, Texas
Travel RN opportunity in a high-acuity Emergency Department in McKinney, TX. Deliver fast-paced emergency nursing care with a supportive team in a Level II trauma setting.

- Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
- Location: McKinney, TX 75069
- Location Overview: McKinney offers a welcoming North Texas community with suburban comfort and easy access to the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 9/28/2026
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 – $1,940
- Type: Travel RN
- EMR: Meditech
- Unit Highlights: 37-bed Level II trauma emergency department with a strong clinical support team
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
- Meditech experience required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong patient care skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting
- High-energy, self-motivated, and amicable personality
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the main ED and pediatric emergency care area
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients according to acuity
- Support safe, efficient care across a wide variety of emergency and trauma cases
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, techs, and paramedics to deliver quality outcomes
- Monitor and care for patients holding in the ED pending admission
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established unit protocols
