- Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Patient Ratio: 2:1 on days, nights, and weekends
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280 – $2,400
- Charting System: Epic
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Current California RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekend rotation
- Strong critical care skills and comfort managing complex patient needs
- Experience with arterial lines, central line care, ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and blood product administration is highly valued
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to ICU patients using the nursing process
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor critically ill patients and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Manage ventilated patients and support complex ICU therapies
- Administer medications, titrate drips, and maintain safe, effective care plans
- Support patients and families with compassionate, patient-centered communication
- Coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and other support services
- Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic
