Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiac Stepdown Job in Morristown, New Jersey
Experienced Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Cardiac Stepdown in Morristown, NJ. Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2010-$2340
- Location: Morristown, New Jersey
- Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Medical Stepdown
- Start Date: 10/5/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel RN
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
- Recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Medical Stepdown, Telemetry, or a similar acute care setting preferred
- Active Registered Nurse license in the practicing state
- Strong cardiac assessment, telemetry monitoring, and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Stepdown unit
- Monitor patient conditions, cardiac rhythms, and response to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate care as appropriate
