Job Details

- Schedule: Full-time evenings
- Shifts per Week: 5 shifts
- Shift Duration: 7.5-hour to 8-hour evening shifts
- Hours per Week: 37.5 to 40 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $830-$900
- Start Date: 10/13/2026
- Duration: 18 weeks
- Openings: 2
- Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday coverage required; must be available for full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday
Job Requirements
- Current New York State Nursing Assistant Certification
- Current BLS certification from AHA or RQI
- At least 1 year of previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or CNA experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Strong resident-centered care skills and a commitment to patient dignity and safety
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, turning, and positioning
- Support resident safety by responding promptly to call lights and alarms, maintaining a clean and orderly environment, and following fall-prevention practices
- Help meet nutritional needs through meal delivery, feeding assistance, nourishments, and use of adaptive equipment as needed
- Provide restorative support, including range of motion, ambulation, transfers, proper body alignment, and safe use of assistive devices
- Document care accurately and promptly according to facility procedures
- Report resident concerns, refusals, and changes in physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the charge nurse or supervising nurse in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for every resident
