Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele
- Employment Type: Travel RN
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- Start Date: 10/23/2026
- Location: Garfield Heights, Ohio 44125

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
- At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or a closely related acute care nursing specialty
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
- Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safe medication administration testing during orientation
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients with a focus on safe, compassionate, and timely care
- Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythm changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and support care planning for assigned patients
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and support positive outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
- Promote a safe, organized, and efficient unit environment while delivering excellent bedside care
