Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Travel | Englewood, CO

Job Requirements
- Current RN license and eligibility to work in the assigned state
- Minimum 1 year of current PCU hospital experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
- Strong cardiac telemetry nursing experience preferred
- Ability to manage a busy assignment with excellent teamwork and communication
- Experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems is helpful
- Comfort working with complex, high-acuity patients in a progressive care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care patients with complex medical and cardiac needs
- Monitor telemetry, assess changes in patient condition, and respond quickly to clinical concerns
- Support post-cath, post-thoracic surgery, and post-cardiac surgery patient care
- Perform chest tube management, neurovascular checks, and routine PCU nursing interventions
- Administer and monitor IV drips, oxygen support, and respiratory therapies as ordered
- Collaborate closely with charge nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and promote safe, efficient patient care
