- Location: Arlington, TX 76015
- Start Date: September 22, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350 – $1,420
- Unit Setting: 30-bed Med/Surg unit
- EMR: Meditech
- Floating: As needed based on hospital needs
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg, medical-surgical, or acute care nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
- Experience with post-surgical and adult medical-surgical patient populations preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate bedside care to Med/Surg patients with a focus on positive outcomes
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to the plan of care
- Care for post-surgical patients, including those recovering from procedures such as cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement
- Support patients with pain management and CIWA-related care needs
- Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and support staff to maintain smooth unit flow and quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established hospital policies, Med/Surg standards, and safety protocols
