- Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Schedule Notes: 1 weekend a month and 4-5 nights per pay period, including weekend call
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 – $2,500
- Setting: Interventional Radiology unit
- Location: Mishawaka, Indiana
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- Interventional Radiology experience preferred or required for success in the role
- Ability to work a daytime procedural schedule with rotating call coverage
- Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
- Comfort working in a high-acuity, team-based environment
- Experience in procedural nursing, acute care, or travel nursing jobs is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures and support safe, efficient throughput
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
- Assist the procedural team with patient care, documentation, and coordination of services
- Maintain a safe, sterile, and patient-centered environment
- Support call coverage as scheduled, including select nights and one weekend per month
- Deliver compassionate care while helping ensure high-quality procedural outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and clinical support staff to improve patient care
