Job Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license
- Current BLS certification
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced hospital environment
- Comfort with standard medical-surgical procedures and patient care workflows
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients in an acute care setting
- Complete comprehensive assessments, monitor patient status, and update care plans
- Perform common unit tasks such as EKGs, blood glucose checks, and venipuncture
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to promote positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional bedside care
