• Setting: Hospital NICU / Neonatal Respiratory Therapy / Pediatric Critical Care
• Location: Savannah, GA 31404
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist job
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,420 – $1,530

Job Requirements

• 1+ year of Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care experience required
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• PALS certification required
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric ventilator management preferred
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity critical care setting
• Familiarity with Epic documentation system is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric critical care patients in a hospital setting
• Independently admit and manage ventilated patients
• Set up and manage Servo U ventilators and other advanced respiratory equipment
• Support invasive and non-invasive respiratory therapies, including BiPAP and CPAP
• Assist with neonatal respiratory support modalities such as Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, HFOV, and HFJV
• Manage heliox therapy and other advanced respiratory interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care
