Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Reno, Nevada
Travel to Reno, NV for a fast-paced Emergency Department RN job in a high-acuity, Level II trauma setting. This 13-week travel nursing assignment is ideal for an experienced ER nurse ready to deliver exceptional emergency care while enjoying the energy, scenery, and outdoor lifestyle of Northern Nevada.
Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER RN)
- Location: Reno, NV 89502
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3×12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Openings: 4
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
Job Requirements
- Active Nevada RN license required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Prior travel nurse experience with at least one 13-week assignment required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS required
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- Ability to float as needed within competency level
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional additional shifts as scheduled
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the treatment episode
- Respond quickly and effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions in a high-volume ED
- Support trauma, stroke, and acute care workflows with professionalism and urgency
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe, timely care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold unit standards for quality and safety
- Deliver compassionate patient and family support during stressful emergency situations
