Telemetry Registered Nurse (Travel RN) – Intermediate Care Unit in Springfield, IL
Travel RN opportunity in Springfield, Illinois: join an intermediate care/telemetry unit and provide high-quality nursing care, cardiac monitoring, and patient support on 12-hour night shifts.
We’re seeking a compassionate Telemetry Registered Nurse for a travel nurse assignment in Springfield, Illinois. In this Intermediate Care Unit setting, you’ll support patients who need close monitoring and skilled clinical care while enjoying everything Springfield has to offer, including a welcoming Midwest community, convenient amenities, and a strong healthcare presence.

Job Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in hand
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- RTO must be provided at the time of submission
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, attentive patient care in a telemetry and intermediate care environment
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and assess for changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond quickly to clinical changes and escalate concerns as needed
