- Schedule Notes: Rotating shifts may be required to help cover open night shifts; every-other-weekend coverage is expected
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in one location
- Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience
- Ability to read cardiac telemetry strips and identify rhythm changes
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Experience caring for adult medical patients in a telemetry or cardiac monitoring setting
- Strong adaptability, teamwork, and patient-centered communication skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to adult medical telemetry patients on a busy inpatient unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, cardiac strips, and patient status changes
- Assess patients, develop care plans, and document accurately in EPIC
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to support safe patient outcomes
- Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 4 to 5 patients per RN
- Float as needed and adapt to changing unit needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting a positive unit culture
