- Schedule: Every other weekend; no call
- EMR: Meditech
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs and closed-toed shoes
Job Requirements
- Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- ENPC certification
- TNCC certification
- CPI certification within 6 weeks of onboarding
- Ability to work effectively in an emergency department environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an emergency department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on clinical need
- Collaborate closely with charge nurses, physicians, trauma staff, and support team members
- Deliver safe and efficient care in both core and fast-track areas
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR
- Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and evolving department flow
- Maintain strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork throughout every shift
