Travel Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift Assignment in Gallatin, Tennessee

- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: Weekend coverage as needed / every third weekend; must be willing to float as needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860 – $1,960
- Setting: Acute care, ortho, post-operative, and med/surg
- Patient Population: Adult and pediatric patients ages 13 and older
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH certification
- Experience with orthopedic, post-operative, bariatric, GI, and trauma patients preferred
- Strong assessment skills, teamwork, and a customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently, ask questions when needed, and provide compassionate bedside care
- Willingness to float within the unit as needed
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality acute care nursing to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status using the Meditech EHR system
- Care for patients recovering from orthopedic, postoperative, bariatric, GI, and trauma-related conditions
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain patient ratios while providing attentive, compassionate bedside nursing care
- Support weekend coverage and floating assignments as needed
- Promote a professional, team-oriented, and patient-centered care environment
