Job Details

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $770 – $820
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- End Date: 12/27/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Setting: Home health and hospice
- Travel Area: Hudson County, NJ
Job Requirements
- Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
- CPR certification required
- At least 1 year of experience in home health, private duty, or related patient care preferred
- Ability to support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a home or care setting
- Comfort with HCHB, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook preferred
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently while following care plans
Responsibilities
- Assist elderly patients, convalescents, and individuals with disabilities with activities of daily living
- Provide personal care support in the patient’s home or in a care facility as needed
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as making beds, laundry, and dishwashing
- Prepare simple meals and support routine nutrition and cleanliness needs
- Offer respectful guidance to families and patients regarding household routines and daily support
- Document and communicate care updates as directed by the care team
- Attend weekly case conference meetings and maintain reliable attendance
