Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas
- Start Date: 10/05/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: Nights, every other weekend required
- Call: 2 call shifts per scheduled period
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
- Setting: On-site Labor & Delivery unit
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Active Arkansas RN license or compact/multistate RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Postpartum nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs in a high-acuity maternity care setting
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to clinical changes
- Assist with admissions, labor support, delivery, and recovery care
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and fellow nurses to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and support unit workflow standards
- Deliver education and reassurance to patients and families throughout the birth process
- Support unit needs, including call coverage and weekend scheduling requirements
