Job Details

- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 – $1,730
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs
- Setting: 12-bed burn unit with ICU and med/surg/PCU patient care
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- Burn unit, ICU, or acute care experience strongly preferred
- Med/surg experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to care for ICU patients at a 2:1 ratio and med/surg or PCU patients at a 4:1 ratio
- Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care environment with ventilators, specialty beds, and occasional CRRT
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to burn and critically ill patients
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Administer treatments, medications, and supportive interventions according to patient needs
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Meditech
- Collaborate with charge RNs, RNs, and PCTs to support safe patient care
- Follow unit guidelines, safety protocols, and clinical best practices
- Float as needed per contract labor policy
