Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of recent acute care or emergency nursing experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
- Strong adaptability, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform well in high-pressure, high-acuity situations
- Preferred: previous ER, medic, or technician experience
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a busy emergency department
- Perform IV starts and phlebotomy as needed
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Support rapid assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain efficient patient flow
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Use emergency equipment and technology safely and effectively
